The Brief /
Game developer King are the brains behind many of the games people play on a daily basis from Candy Crush to Bubble Witch.
Following the recent installation of large moveable walls within their canteen area, King wanted to turn these into a huge piece of art, by transforming them with a mural capturing the essence of the King brand. The mural needed to incorporate their new ‘Making the World Playful’ logo and capture the fact that they have global coverage with their games by using an around the world theme.
Our Solution /
Taking the cartoon style of many of the King games as inspiration, we designed and created a fun illustration mural which had a naïve 1950’s cartoon look and feel. The design combined different world landscapes including woodland, mountain, desert, countryside and a city, so taking you through a pleasant tour as you walk past the mural into the canteen area.
The mural was created digitally in keeping with the brand, and the computer-generated illustration was digitally printed onto high tack vinyl and installed onto each of the moveable panels.
